1 ½ cups brown sugar packed
½ cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the semisweet mini chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
For an extra chocolatey flavor, add chopped nuts or a swirl of peanut butter before baking.
