Ingredients

Scale

1 cup all-purpose flour (or substitute with whole wheat flour)

2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 cup Greek yogurt (thick consistency recommended)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Optional toppings: Everything bagel seasoning

cinnamon

shredded cheese

garlic & herbs

chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt to the dry ingredients and mix until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead it gently until smooth.
  5. Divide the dough into four equal portions and shape each into a bagel, making a hole in the center.
  6. Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet and brush each with beaten egg for a shiny finish.
  7. Sprinkle with your choice of optional toppings.
  8. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
