Description

These Ham and Cheese Sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that’s perfect for gatherings and parties. With a buttery topping and melty cheese, they’re sure to be a hit!


Ingredients

4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1 (12-ounce) package Hawaiian sweet rolls

12 slices Swiss cheese (about 7 ounces)

12 thin slices deli ham (about 10 ounces)

1 teaspoon poppy seeds


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and kosher salt.
  3. Place the Hawaiian rolls in a baking dish and cut them in half horizontally without separating the top and bottom.
  4. Layer half of the Swiss cheese on the bottoms of the rolls, followed by the deli ham slices, and then the remaining Swiss cheese.
  5. Place the tops of the rolls back on and brush the melted butter mixture over the tops. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, feel free to mix in some chopped onions or your favorite spices before baking.
