2 teaspoons olive oil
2/3 cup pizza sauce (homemade or store-bought)
Italian seasoning or ground basil

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
60–65 pepperoni slices
optional: 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
optional: extra mozzarella cheese and fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or sprinkle with cornmeal if using.
- Roll out the homemade pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Brush the dough with olive oil and spread pizza sauce evenly over the surface.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder to taste over the sauce, then add shredded mozzarella cheese and arrange pepperoni slices on top.
- Carefully roll the dough tightly from one side to the other to form a log.
- Slice the roll into 1-inch pieces and place them cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, serve with additional pizza sauce for dipping, and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
Notes
For an extra cheesy experience, feel free to sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese on top before baking. Adjust pepperoni and seasonings to your preference!
