1 pkg active dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 cup warm water
2 ½ cups bread flour
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 lb flank steak
sliced into thin strips
2 green bell peppers
thinly sliced
1 onion
thinly sliced
7 slices provolone cheese
1 cup mozzarella
shredded
1 tbsp oil
oil/drippings from meat/veggies
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ cup milk
½ cup parmesan cheese
shredded
¼ cup mozzarella cheese
shredded
½ tsp garlic salt
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp Slap Ya Mama®
Instructions
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine bread flour and salt. Add olive oil and the yeast mixture. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour.
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Sauté the flank steak until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add bell peppers and onion. Sauté until softened, then add back the steak. Mix well and remove from heat.
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough onto a baking sheet.
- In a separate saucepan, mix oil/drippings with heavy cream, milk, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic salt, pepper, and Slap Ya Mama®. Heat until combined.
- Spread the cream sauce over the pizza crust. Top with the steak and vegetable mixture, then layer provolone and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
For a spicier kick, consider adding sliced jalapeños or your favorite hot sauce.
